We received a call from a client who was concerned that water was leaking into her newly-built garage.  She asked us to investigate, and the culprit proved to be the curb of the garage pad.  It was both poorly installed and inadequate in height, and unfortunately those issues could not be resolved without extensive demolition and reconstruction.  Therefore, in order to mitigate further leakage in as minimally invasive a manner possible, we built a retaining wall to direct water away and a new landing for the garage.  While of course the best solution would have been proper construction practices to avoid the problem altogether, she was in the end very pleased with the final result.
